A rally for disabled persons was held in Chuadanga town on Saturday (February 4). Prottasa Samajik Unnoun Sangstha arranged the event.
The rally was presided over by Billal Hossain, Managing Director of the organization. Mohammad Aminul Islam Khan, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga was present as the chief guest.
It was addressed, among others, by Arafat Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Chuadanga, Abu Tareq, ASP, Sardar Al Amin, President of Chuadanga Press Club, Dr. Awlior Rahman, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer and Jahangir Hossain, Youth Development Officer addressed as special guests. It was spoken by disabled persons Sultan Badsha, Moslem Uddin, Taslima Khatun, Shafiqul Islam, Lipia Khatun and Jahidul Islam. Saidur Rahman, Coordinator of Prottasha delivered welcome address to all.
The disabled persons stated to preserve the seat in vehicles, to follow quota for the job seekers of disabled persons and to increase the allowance for them. Chuadanga Correspondent
