RAKUB launches automated chalan system services

Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) has launched the services of an automated chalan (A-Chalan) system aimed at expediting its banking activities amid the modern banking era.

With this breakthrough, the bank will play an effective role towards government revenue earning side by side with delivering upgraded services to the clients in general.

In the preliminary stage, the specialised commercial bank launched the modern system services in its 25 branches and all the 383 branches will be brought under the system in phases.

RAKUB management revealed this while launching the system at its headquartered conference hall in the city on Thursday.

Managing Director Abdul Mannan addressed the ceremony as the chief guest with Deputy General Manager of ICT Division Abul Kalam in the chair.

General Managers Joynal Abedeen, Maksuda Nasrin, Kamil Burhan Ferdous and Babor Ali also spoke. Abdul Mannan said the government level revenues and fees, including tax and VAT, will be collected protectively and the clients will get improved services quickly through the A-chalan system.
