Rakeen Tranquil Town begins its journey

Rakeen Tranquil Town, one of the largest condominiums in Bangladesh, began its journey on Saturday. It was inaugurated Kanchpur, near the capital city, through colourful programme.

Rakeen Tranquil Town, the latest project of Rakeen Development Company (BD) Limited, is located Kanchpur Bridge area in Narayanganj. The project adds a new dimension in the country's real estate sector. It is now a dream of the middle-class to own an independent apartment in a reasonable price with all modern facilities. Rakeen Development Company (BD) Limited is working to realize this dream, says a press release.

SAK Ekramuzzaman, Managing Director of Rakeen Development Company Ltd, along with other guests formally inaugurated the construction work of the project by digging soil and releasing balloons. The programme was attended, among others, by chief operating officer of Rakeen Development Company (BD) Ltd Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Zahurul Islam PSC, chief financial officer Girish and senior general manager (sales) SM Shakil Sarwar. More than a thousand guests were entertained with lunch and a Pitha festival was also a part of the ceremony.

Rakeen Tranquil Town is being constructed on 120 bighas of land making it one of the largest condominium projects in the country. This project focused on ensuring world-class facilities similar to those of Singapore, Malaysia or Dubai. It has 80-feet wide roads, green water bodies, open field, park, fire station, power station, deep tube-well, big mosques, temple, sports complex, hospital, community center, indoor games, swimming pool, gymnasiums, commercial complex and lots of other services. Rakeen Tranquil Town will consist a number of 23-storied buildings with apartments of five different sizes: two bedroom (900 sqft), three bedroom (1100 sqft), three bedroom (1300 sqft), three bedroom (1500 sqft with family living), three bedroom (1650 sqft with family living).

The idea of building a new condominium like Rakeen Tranquil Town was inspired by costumers' extraordinarily positive responses to Bijoy Rakeen City.  SAK Ekramuzzaman said, “This is a dream project for us. We have previous experiences in condominium projects. But we want to make Rakeen Tranquil Town something equal to those of Singapore and Dubai in terms of quality. We are hopeful to provide services to our clients like what the New Yorkers enjoy.”
