RAJUK official gets three-year jail in graft case

A Dhaka court on Wednesday sentenced a suspended official of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) to three-year imprisonment in a graft case filed by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), reports BSS.

Judge Md Shahidul Islam of Dhaka Special Judge Court-7 passed the order, sentencing Jajaul Haque Munshi Junnu, 47, to three-year imprisonment. ACC filed the case against the official working with design wing of RAJUK for amassing Taka 14, 70,514 illegally. The court on Wednesday also ordered to confiscate the money under state exchequer.
