Government Rajendra College authorities in Faridpur district installed a sky-high mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a terracotta sculpture based on his historical biography and the history of Bangladesh.
Due to large size and outstanding craftsmanship, these unique works of art have attracted the people, who love art and understand the history.
This project on the mural and terracotta was completed under the initiatives of Principal of the College, Asim Kumar Saha and supervision of Professor DrRasmoyKirtaniya, Head of the Department of Bengali.
Local lawmaker (Faridpur-1) Abdur Rahman, member of local parliament and president of Bangladesh Awami League, inaugurated it on August 13.
The foundation stone of this mural and terracotta project was laid earlier on December 16 last year.

Sujaul Abedin Bishan was born in 1983, in Rajbari village of Rajbari union in Rajbari union.
He is currently working in the Arts Branch of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board.
