Jagroni Theater will stage the play. It is written by Mahfuza Hilali and directed by Debashis Ghosh. This is the 15th production of Jagroni Theater.

The story of the play is based on the story of Shahjadpur in Kushtia, reminiscent of world poet Rabindranath Tagore. Shoron Saha will play the role of Haridas Basak, the main character of the play. In 1939, Rabindranath Tagore wrote a letter in reply to a letter from Shri Haridas Basak of Shahjadpur. Under the influence of this letter and Rabindrasahitya, Haridas Basak’s life became like that of Rabindranath’s grandfather’s character. The play ‘Rajar Chithi’ is written with this story. The 33rd exhibition of the play will be held at Jagroni Theater tomorrow.
