Rainfall likely in different parts

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted that the existing rainfall may continue at many places in the country. “Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” said a met office bulletin.

However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 36.9 degrees Celsius at Kutubdia in Chattogram and Monday’s minimum temperature 21.0 degrees Celsius at Tangail. The highest rainfall for last 24 hours (till 06 am on Monday) was recorded 134mm at Bogura. The sun sets at 06:43pm on Monday and rises at 05:11am today (Tuesday) in the capital.
