Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted rainfall at many places in the country. “Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions” said a met office bulletin.
However, the day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and Sunday minimum temperature 24.6 degrees Celsius at Cox’s bazar in Chattogram.
The sun sets at 6.45 pm on Sunday and rises at 5.10 am today (Monday) in the capital.
