The country is experiencing light and heavy rainfall elsewhere for the last several days due to a distinct low created in the Bay of Bengal. Meteorology office sources informed, the clear low formed at Bihar and neigbouring Gangetic West Bengal is now staying at the Madhya Pradesh and the surrounding regions of India.
The enlarged epicentre of the monsoon remained spread over Rajsthan, Bihar, Gengetic West Bengal and Assam through the middle of Bangladesh. An enlarged part of it is spread to the northern Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is active over Bangladesh and in a strong position over the Bay of Bengal.
Due to its impact, the light to moderate rainfall with the gusty wind and lightning may occur in most places of Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and many places of Dhaka, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions. There might be heavy rainfall in some place in the country.
Meteorological Office source further informed, the tendency of rainfall. rainfall with lightning would continue for the next two-day and afterwards, at the starting of the 5th day, the tendency of rainfall/ rainfall with lightning might be increased further.
Another message from the meteorological dept. informed the high-tide one to two feet higher than the normal may inundate low lying areas of coastal regions of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Bogruna, Patuakhali, Bhola, Barishal, Pirojpour, Bagerhat, Khulna, Satkhira and nearby islands and the chars during this period.
