Bangladesh Meteorology Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers along with temporary gusty wind in all eight divisions of the country.
According to the Met office’s regular bulletin issued on Sunday (August 13, 2023), light to moderate rain or thundershowers along with temporary gusty wind may occur at most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions.
Some places may experience moderately heavy to heavy falls over the country as the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged.
Country’s maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius at Ishurdi, while Sunday’s minimum temperature was 24.0 degrees Celsius at Kutubdia.
The highest rainfall in the 24 hours till 6:00 am on Sunday was 26 millimeters (mm) at Rajarhat.
