Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that rain may occur at many places of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am, reports BSS.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions,” a Met office bulletin issued here on Saturday morning.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, the bulletin said. The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 33.4 degree Celsius in Dhaka while Saturday’s minimum temperature was 15.6 degree Celsius in Tetulia. The sun sets at 6.10 pm on Saturday and rises at 6.00 am Sunday in the capital.
