Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted that rain may occur at many places of the country, reports BSS.
“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions,” a met office bulletin issued on Monday morning
Weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country, added the bulletin. However, day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it said.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga of Khulna division while Monday’s minimum temperature was 15.2 degree Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet division. The sun sets at 6.11 pm on Monday and rises at 5.58am today (Tuesday) in the capital.
