The long-cherished rainfall brought relief to the people of Mymensingh amid the ongoing heatwave on Saturday.
People of the region have been suffering from scorching heat of summer for last few days. However, the temperature fell and people got relieved as it rained at 8:00pm in Mymensingh.
Weather office said more rain is predicted on Monday. It may rain on Sunday and Monday in the district.
The sky looked gloomy with cloud in the evening. Later, it rained with stormy weather at night.
According to the weather office, the temperature was around 41 degrees Celsius from last April 21. The temperature was around 36 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
