Dhaka Railway Police Headquarters of Bangladesh Police, Additional Inspector General Didar Ahmed visited various establishments of Chattogram Railway District Police on a two-day visit on last Sunday.
He paid floral tributes to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great architect of independence, installed at Police Lines. He inaugurated the police lines beautification work and planted 1 fruit tree sapling. He gave instructions to continue the developmental activities of Police Lines.
After the visit, he exchanged views with the officials of Chattogram Railway District's Thana, Police Fari and materially related infrastructure development activities of the Railway District and gave instructions.
Chattogram Railway Police Super Md Hasan Chowdhury, Additional Superintendent of Police and senior officers of Chattogram Railway District were present during the visit.
During the interaction with the Railway Police, he urged them to work efficiently to maintain law and order in the railway district and directed to strengthen public awareness activities, beat policing activities for prevention of stone pelting, prevention of death and safe transportation of passengers.
