Patients infected with corona virus will be admitted to Bangladesh Railway Hospital in the port city's CRB. Corona patients will be treated in the 100-bed hospital from Monday.
Eastern Railway Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Shamsul Alam Md Imtiaz said, "We have already made all kinds of preparations. The Department of Health will start providing medical services from the day patients are admitted. They told us they would send the patient in a couple of days”.
Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said, "We hope to transfer corona patients there from Monday. Physicians, nurses have been kept ready. If corona patients are admitted in that hospital, the pressure in other hospitals will be reduced to some extent”.
