Renowned theatre artistes Rahmat Ali and Wahida Mollick Jolly has been admitted to a private hospital after they were infected with Covid-19 virus.
Rahmat Ali and Wahida Mollick Jolly both are Associate Professors at the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies of University of Dhaka. One of their colleagues confirmed the news on Saturday. Wahida Mollick Jolly is also a prominent cultural activist.
The couple was diagnosed with the virus on November 17. They have been hospitalised on November 22, after their health deteriorated. Wahida is recovering, while Rahmat Ali is slowly responding to treatment as he has some complications in his kidney.
