RAB in Jhenaidah has stood by a girl footballer when her family members had been passing hard days in their home following social distances.
RAB Jhenidah camp commander additional superintend of police Masud Alam said as per the advice of the commander of RAB 6 in Khulna Lieutenant Colonel Rawshanul Feroj, he went to the house of nationally recognized best girl footballer Unnati Khatun.
Unnati Khatun’s father, a rickshaw van peddler in profession, was going almost hungry for want of adequate food and suffering badly for want of money when the poorest family was staying at home following novel corona virus for last few weeks.
RAB camp commander said he went to house of Unnati Khatun at Doharo village of Shailkupa upazila in the evening of Sunday and handed over cash for an amount of Taka 20 thousand and food items for a month to the ailing family members. Unnati Khatun is the best girl footballer who bagged the trophy of Bangabandhu and Bangamata under 17 girl football tournaments.
Contacted Unnati Khatun expressed their great gratitude, said the family members do not have enough language to thank the elite force RAB as they had also assured the family members to extend their hands in near future.
