Member of RAB-5, Rajshahi Mollapara camp arrested infamous firearms dealer and drug peddler from Namazgram village under Puthia upazila on Wednesday night and recovered firearms and drugs from his possession.
The arrested peddler has been identified as Sujon Ali Babu(30) son of Abul Kalam of Namazgram village under Puthia upazila.
In response to a tip off, RAB members arrested Sujon Ali Babu and recovered one 7.65 mm foreign pistol, one one-shooter-gun, two magazines, five rounds of bullet, 2,630 pieces of Yaba tablets, two mobile phone sets, three pieces of SIM cards and memory cards from his possession. A case has been filed with Puthia Police Station in this connection.
