Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 192 bottles of contraband Indian phensidyl from Shibganj in Chapainawabganj district on Wednesday night.
The arrested was identified as Md Mojibur Rahman Moju, 35 of Shialmara under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp, on detective information, conducted a raid in a house at Shialmara under Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila in the district at around 5 pm and arrested him with the bottles of phensidyl.
Later, the elite force handed him over to the concerned police station with a case, the sources added.
