Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted separate raids at Kanchpur under Sonargaon Upazila and Roghunathpur under Sadar upazila arrested four drug vendors along with 18, 470 pieces yaba pills on Friday night.
Additional police super of RAB-3 Bina Rani Das conducted a raid at Kanchpur area under Sonargaon police station on Friday night recovered 14450 yaba tablets and arrested a drug trader.
The arrested was identified as Helal, 30, son of Yusuf, resident of Ramu upazila in Cox’s bazar district.
A team of RAB-11 raided had Roghunathpur area under Fatulla police station on July 30 night, arrested three drug traders and recovered 4020 pieces yaba pills from their possessions.
The arrested were identified as Azam Khalifa, 30, Imran, 28, Ridoy, 28 all are tenants at Dharmaganj area under Fatulla police station.
Two criminal cases were recorded with concern police stations in this regard.
