RAB nabs 3 drug peddlers with hemp, phensidyle

The members of crime prevention special company of RAB-11 in a drive on Saturday night recovered one hundred contraband phensidyle syrup and fifty kilograms ganja from voberchor area under Gojaria police station Munshiganj district and Kanchpur area under Siddhirganj police station in Narayangonj district as an abandoned condition.

Media officer of RAB-11 assistant superintendent of police Md Rizwan Sayeed Ziku informed the matter to the media, added that when they conducted drive on information of drug consignment coming towards Narayanganj by Dhaka Chottagram highway they rushed the places but sensing presence of law enforcers the drug peddlers fled from the spot.

The same team the same day raided at launch ghat area under Narayanganj Sador police station held three drug peddlers alone with 200 bottles contraband phensidyle and 5.7 kg hemp from their possessions.

The arrested are Deloar Hossain, 20, son of Nur Islam, resident of Munshipara village under Shibganj police station of Chapainawabganj district, Billal Hossain kala, 22, son of Abul Kalam, resident of Sadorpur village under Chouddagram police station of Cumilla district and Russel, 22, son of Shafik Mia, resident of Shuarkhil village of Cumilla district.

Two criminal cases have been recorded with the concerned police stations in this regard.
