Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a wild smuggler along with a "Takhok snake" from Muroli area in Jashore town on Wednesday night.
The arrestee was identified as Mukul Banerjee 40 son of Probir Banarjee of Darikhali village sador upazila of Jhenaidaha district.
RAB -6 Jashore Camp Commander Lt. Mahmudur Rahman said, that on secret information a team of RAB member raided inf ront of the Fuel Pump Service in Muroli area and arrested him with a Takhok snake.
Mukul Banerjee said that he had been exporting wildlife without license through fraud.
A case was filed with Jashore Kotwali police station.
