The final round of ‘Startup Hunt’ competition organized by ‘Power of She’ was held on Saturday, at Riddhi Gallery in Mirpur of the the capital city of Dhaka.
The event, organized from 3 pm to 6 pm, was attended by promising women and young entrepreneurs from different parts of the country.
The contestants presented their business ideas, products, services, innovative initiatives and future plans. The judges evaluated the participants on the basis of creativity, product quality, market potential, presentation skills, business plans and social impact.
Fashion designer Lipi Khandaker, Head and Senior Journalist of Hal Fashion Saifur Rahman, Head of Corporate Affairs Jisan Kingshuk and Sangita Ahmed of Women’s Chamber were present as judges.

Speakers at the event said that such initiatives are timely to advance women entrepreneurs. Such competitions will play an important role in increasing the interest of becoming entrepreneurs among the young generation.
Zarin Raihan, Roksana Islam and Monira Alam have been selected as the winning startups in the final selection.
In addition, the two winning students are 1. Rizwana Sultana, a third-semester student of the Textile Engineering Department of the Institute of Science, Trade and Technology, and Jannati Eva, a master's student of the Journalism and Media Department of Stamford University.
Entrepreneurs selected from the final round will have the opportunity to participate in the 'Women Summit and Exhibition 2026' to be held on May 9 and 10. They will have free stall facilities, opportunities to display and sell products, networking facilities and honors and capital support for the best entrepreneurs.
The two-day 'Women Summit and Exhibition 2026' will bring together women entrepreneurs, young generations, business leaders, investors and interested participants on one platform. It will include product exhibitions, experience exchange, awards, health seminars and master classes and sessions for creating new entrepreneurs.
There will also be 33 stalls, where free stall facilities for women entrepreneurs as well as new entrepreneurs, products made by acid survivors, products made by disabled entrepreneurs, handicrafts, fashion and innovative products will be exhibited.
Sabina Saby, Chairman of Power of She, said that it is possible to build an economically self-reliant society by developing and enhancing the capabilities of women entrepreneurs. She added, "Our main goal is to create a Tex platform for women, where they can convert their skills, creativity and innovative ideas into real businesses."
She added that initiatives like Entrepreneur Hunt are creating opportunities for new and potential entrepreneurs to come forward. Such events are not just a competition; Rather, it is an important platform for learning, networking and building confidence.
He expressed hope that through this event, the selected entrepreneurs will be able to strengthen their position at the national and international levels in the future.
Power of She is a non-profit organization that has been working on women's empowerment, entrepreneurship development, mental and physical health awareness and digital safety since 2017. The organization has been organizing various programs, seminars, exhibitions and competitions regularly to provide training, business advice, create networking opportunities for women and develop young women as entrepreneurs.
