Dhallywood evergreen actress Dilara Hanif Purnima has tied the knot for the second time with Ashfakur Rahman Robin, a senior official in the marketing department of a multinational company in the country. The matter was confirmed by the actress herself to the media on Thursday (July 21) night.
The marriage ceremony was held on May 27 with the consent of the two families amidst their close family and relatives. After almost two months of their marriage, Purnima revealed the news of her marriage and how the newlyweds meet.
The actress said, 'I met him (Robin) through work and soon became friends. After 3 years of friendship, we fall for each other and decided to get married.Due to the Covid situation, the news of the wedding has been delayed.’
It is learnt that their post-wedding reception will be organised at the end of this year.
Earlier on November 4, 2007 Purnima got married to Ahmed Jamal Fahad and became the mother of her first daughter on April 13, 2014 named her Arshia Umaija. The couple got divorced 3 years ago.However, Dilara Hanif Purnima did not clarify the news of the separation of this family.
Purnima’s husband Ashfakur Rahman Robin studied at a private university in Sydney and took a higher degree from there.
