Police Nari Kalyan Samity (PUNAK), a platform of the women police, organized a discussion on ‘Role of Adolescent girls to build the Smart Bangladesh’ at Jhenaidah police lines auditorium in Jhenaidah on Tuesday.
The program was held for the self-development of the female students in presence of the guardians. The objective of the discussion was to protect the adolescent girls during the growing stage of life.
The discussion was presided over by PUNAK Jhenaidah unit president Irin Hossain. The organization’s Khulna range Advisor Rawshan Zahan Nupur attended the program as the chief guest.
Renowned psychiatrist and Head of the Psychiatry Department in Rangpur Medical College Hospital Dr. Abdul Matin, Jhenaidah government Keshab Chandra College Principal Professor Ashoke Kumar Maulik, among others, were present there.
The discussants urged the guardians to take care of the growing girls so that they can stay on right track avoiding all odds and challenges during the adolescent ages.
