‘Pulsirat’ to be staged at Shilpakala Academy today

Natyadal Prachyanat's play 'Pulsirat' will be staged at 7 pm on Saturday at the main Malinayatan of the National Theater of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Masumul Alam has translated it based on the novel "Men in the Saints" by Palestinian author Ghassan Kanafani. 

The play was directed by Moiniril Islam Rubel and directed by Taifiqul Islam Emon.

The play will be staged at the "Bangla Natya Utsab" organized by Mahakal Natyasampradaya. 

Her dream is for her children to be able to go to school. Whether due to age or character traits - Abu Kayes is soft in temperament and a little timid in nature. And his exact opposite is Asad. 

He is young in age. 

Somewhat angry and naturally tactful. Earlier, he had tried to cross the border into Kuwait illegally. 

A secure and prosperous future, the dream of marrying a cousin and at the same time the humiliation of the uncle drives him simultaneously.

On the other hand, 16-year-old Marwan wants to leave school and move to Kuwait of his dreams under the pressure of his family responsibilities. His elder brother lives in Kuwait. 

He used to work there and send money to his family in the country. But after marriage he stopped sending money. 

Unable to support his children, his father divorced a lame woman to fulfill his dream of a prosperous life. So Marwan wants to move to Kuwait with the dream of earning money to save his family. 

They all accidentally took refuge in Abul Khaizuran.         In this way, the story of play goes on.
