In Bangladesh over 38 lakh people were administered Covid-19 vaccines with the first dose in 30 days. Besides, over 51 lakh people have registered to get vaccinated.

We would like to express our thanks to the government as it continues to undertake its vaccination campaign at a fast pace since the countrywide vaccination campaign was launched on February 7.

People aged 40 years and above now can get registered to receive Covid-19 vaccines.

When the government was preparing vaccination centers across the country, rumors about the vaccine started spreading fast on social media in many ways. But the rumors and the gossips went away immediately after the beginning of the vaccination campaign.

We hope that the government will be able to fulfill

its target to vaccinate a total of four crore people

of the country by next July

It has been noticed that people's trust in coronavirus vaccines is growing, with more people saying they would get one. We also observed that the country's people are most willing to have the vaccination.

Besides, as the prime minister, cabinet members and other important personalities have got vaccinated, the campaign started getting pace.

In addition, as a result of vaccination, there are benefits to travel to different countries, where a corona vaccination certificate was previously required.

Since there is no side-effect, interest for vaccination is increasing day by day among the people.

While many countries are facing difficulties in vaccinating their people, Bangladesh is being praised all over the world for its leading role and success in the vaccination drives as well.

On the other hand, adequate vaccines have been distributed to all the 1,006 vaccination booths across the country.

At present vaccination is being run at the upazila level. It will be taken to the union level very soon.

We hope that the government will be able to fulfill its target to vaccinate a total of four crore people of the country by next July.
