Strasbourg and Paris Saint-Germain will face each other on Saturday in a game of the 28th round in Ligue 1, claim agencies.  Strasbourg are currently occupying 10th spot in the standings, having collected 38 points so far. The Parisians are leading the race for the title and have a thirteen point cushion at the top of the table.

The Parisians won the first meeting for the campaign in Ligue 1 with a slender 1:0 score at home back in September.  The oil-rich capital side is unbeaten in the last six H2H clashes, recording four victories in the process. None of the last five encounters ended in a win for the away sides, as just two of those featured over 2,5 goals and three witnessed goals at both ends. All of the last six meetings at Stade de la Meinau in Strasbourg saw both teams to score.

Strasbourg got their four game unbeaten streak ended last weekend when they lost heavily by 3:0 away to Montpellier. The team’s struggles are mainly in the attacking department, as their players managed to score more than a goal just once in the last six games. Two of Montpellier’s last five outings produced over 2,5 goals, while only a single match saw both involved sides to score.

After going back-to-back games without a win in mid-February, Paris Saint-Germain responded by winning the following three, scoring thirteen goals in the process.  On Wednesday PSG trashed Lyon by 1:5 away from home in a cup meeting. All of the Parisians last five encounters featured over 2,5 goals and four witnessed goals at  both ends.
