Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee formed a human chain on the four-road intersection of Thakurgaon district town on Saturday protesting the opposition to installing the sculpture of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
President of District Juba League Nazmul Huda Shah Apollo, General Secretary of Chhatra League Sanwar Parvez Pulak, Convener of the organization Muktijoddha Abdul Mannan, Member Abu Mahmon , Setara Begum, President of District Udichi Shilpi Gosthi among others were present.
They demanded exemplary punishment by filing a sedition case against those who are misleading people about the installment of Bangabandhu’s sculpture.
