The Munshiganj Iman Aqeedah Preservation Committee protested against the state-sponsored burning of the Holy Quran in Sweden and the cancellation of anti-Islamic and anti-Quran education syllabus in Bangladesh.
After Friday, worshipers gather at the square of Shaheed Minar in front of Munshiganj District Shilpakala Academy, the heart of the city. The protest procession came out from the Shaheed Minar and went around the city's Allah Chatter and ended at the foot of the Shaheed Minar. Devout Muslims participated in the protest march. Later, the speakers at the foot of the Shaheed Minar gave speeches demanding the burning of the Quran under state patronage in Sweden and the cancellation of anti-Islamic and anti-Quran education syllabus in Bangladesh.
Munshiganj Iman Aqeedah Preservation Committee Vice President Maulana Siddiqur Rahman, General Secretary Mufti Neshar Ahmed, Deputy General Secretary Hafez Md Salim, Organizing Secretary Maulana Aminul Islam, Treasurer Mufti Musfiqur Rahman and others spoke.
From these protest marches and gatherings, Sweden's products are banned in Bangladesh, Sweden has been summoned diplomatically, it has been protested by the state and strong demands have been made to cancel Hinduism in the national education syllabus.
The protest ended peacefully under police protection.
