Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque in Khulna said projects will be taken through identifying citizens' problems to make Khulna city a green, clean and healthy one.
“Necessary and important projects will be taken for the well being of city dwellers,” he said while presiding over the first meeting of City Level Co-ordination Committee (CLCC) of KCC on Thursday afternoon at the Shaheed Altaf Auditorium at KCC building.
Under the local Government Covid-19 Response and Recovery Project, the committee has been formed following the direction of Local Government Department (LGD), he said, adding that it was formed aiming for the solutions of citizens problems.
The Mayor said development works of different projects including drains and roads are ongoing. He hoped that it will be completed by February next if weather is favorable.
He also commented that city dwellers should keep garbage management system when they will build their residence to ensure
green city.
