Professor Dr. HosneAra Begum of Bangla department has been appointed as the Dean of Jagannath University (JnU) Arts faculty.
A notification issued on Sunday from the Registrar office in the regard said that Prof. HosneArawas appointed as per Section 22 (5) of Jagannath University Act, 2005 for the next two years as the post fell vacant after the demise of former dean.
The order will be effective from December 3, 2023 and the newly appointed dean will get the allowances and other facilities from that day.
