A procession was brought in support of mayor candidate Shafiqul Gani Dhali Limon in the upcoming Kishoreganj municipal elections.
The procession started from Kishoreganj Old Stadium on Wednesday noon (November 18). The old stadium was abuzz with dancing and singing before the procession began.
The procession left the old stadium with 10-15 thousand people, circled the city's main thoroughfares and ended at the Harua crossroads.
After the procession, Shafiqul Gani Dhali Limon told reporters that Kishoreganj municipality is considered as a historic municipality. “I have become a mayor candidate to build a model municipality by increasing the quality of citizen service. I hope to return home with victory,” he said.
