Deputy Commissioner of Narayanganj formed a probe body to investigate the incident of four-story building collapse at Baburail area of Sadar upazila. The committee was asked to submit their report within December 8.
Debashis Bormon, director of Dhaka division of Fire service and Civil Defence, hinted that the building was faulty and did not abide building code.
All members of authority concerned from Fire service and civil defence, police and administration headed by additional district magistrate formed the probe body and they sat meeting to make a report on building collapse by December 8, DC Jasimuddin confirmed.
According to locals one who was killed named Soyeb, 12, and his maternal cousin Wazed , 12, still is missing.
Officer-in-Charge of Fatulla Model Police Station, Aslam Hossain confirmed that no case yet filed in this connection.
