Prirojpur dealer fined for black-marketing of TCB product

Jahangir Hossain, a dealer and owner of Abdullah Enterprise, has been fined Tk 20,000 by a mobile court for selling TCB products on the black market at Mathbaria in Pirojpur.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Ripon Biswas conducted the mobile court around 10:30 pm on Wednesday.

It is learned that Jahangir, a dealer of Mathbaria TCB, was selling government TCB products on the black market without selling them in the open market. 

Police seized 40 kg of sugar from two shops named Nizam Store and Miraj Store at Mirukhali Road Tempustan in the city on Wednesday night while selling TCB products on the black market.  

Later, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and  Executive Magistrate Ripon Biswas set up a mobile court and fined dealer Jahangir Tk 20,000 for selling TCB products on the black market. 

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Ripon Biswas said dealer Jahangir was fined Tk 20,000 for selling TCB products on the black market. 

The upazila administration will make a recommendation to the concerned department to cancel the dealership of that dealer.
