The bass guitarist Gomes Prince of Bangladesh’s popular band ‘Obscure’ is no more. He passed away after he suffered a heart attack yesterday (January 12) at 11:00am. At the time of his death, he was 45 years old. Vocal of Obscure Syed Hasan Tipu confirmed the news of Prince's death.
Sayed Hassan Tipu said, “In the morning he went to the office. There he fell ill and was travelling to National Heart Foundation by motorcycle and died on the way.”
Obscure is a renowned band in the history of Bangladesh band music. In the eighties, Sayed Hassan Tipu took the initiative to establish the band. On March 15 of 1985, Tipu founded the Obscure Band in Khulna.
The shadow of gloom has descended upon the music arena following his passing.
