Apart from this, 7/8 other unidentified people have been accused. Meanwhile, RAB arrested the main accused in the case, Abdul Khan alias Abdullah Khan, from Teknaf on Sunday morning. Along with that, the victim's motorcycle was also recovered.

The accused are Khairul Ahmad's son Abdul Khan Prakash Abdullah Khan (27) and his brother Abdullah Ahad Choton (24), deceased Abdus Salam's son Chayid Akbar (33) and his brother Ramzan Ali (30), Munna Prakash Ala Munna (28), Md. Zafar's son. Sunny (27), Md. Jewel Prakash Farhad (25). All of them are residents of Peshkar neighborhood of Ward No. 4 of the municipality.
According to the statement of the case, the deceased victim Imon Hasan Mawla (20) is a 1st year student of Cox's Bazar Government College. The main accused had a quarrel with the victim some months ago. Which has also been socially determined. But Abdullah Khan, the mastermind of the murder, harbored indignation for the victim. At the same time, the main accused Abdullah also threatened to kill Iman in various ways. At one point on July 21 at 9:30 pm, while the deceased Emon was returning home on his motorcycle, the accused accused in the case and their co-accused unknown 7/8 accused in the case, while returning home on his motorcycle, near the house of the main accused, armed with sharp rams, knives, daggers, Chinese razors, iron rods. , beat the victim fatally with hammer, stick. At that time, when the victim's loud screams came forward, the accused fled with the victim's motorcycle. Later, with the help of the local crowd, the victim was rescued and first taken to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital. From there he was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital as per doctor's advice. Eamon died while undergoing treatment there.
In this regard, the father of the deceased, Hasan, the plaintiff in the case, said that before my son died, he was told the names and addresses of those involved in the murder. Those whose names and addresses he mentioned have been made defendants in the case.
Meanwhile, RAB arrested the main accused a few hours after the case. RAB 15 held a press conference on Sunday at 5:30 pm at RAB 15's office.
RAB 15 Assistant Director Nitya Nand said in a press conference citing the arrested Abdullah Khan, the victim's father Hassan has a polythene, paps and carpet shop in the city's bazaar. Abdullah Khan and Iman started a dispute when they bought a paps there. Because of this, Iman and his friends beat Abdullah and his associates in 2021. Abdullah family filed a case as plaintiff in that incident. whose number is 41/681. However, although the case was settled socially, Abdullah Khan was distraught. He waits for an opportunity to take revenge. Abdullah got that opportunity on the night of 21 July.
He also said that the accused will be handed over to Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station after being arrested in Emon's murder case. Further legal action will be taken by the police. Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station OC (Investigation) Salim Uddin said that the statement given by the father of the deceased has been registered as a case. The main accused in the case will be sent to the court on Monday and a remand application will be made. Apart from this, operations are also underway to arrest others.
