Chuadanga district administration, health department, police, army and others department of government offices have been working jointly to help for people for preventing coronavirus in the district with heart and soul.
In the meantime beds for coronavirus positive bearers, distribution of relief, motivation works, setting up anti-germ tunnel have been completed under the auspices of government, according to press release signed by Deputy Commissioner Nazrul Islam Sarker.
A total of 195 beds for COVID-19 attacked patients have been arranged under the auspices of government fund and district
administration fund. Of the total 80 beds have been set up by the district administration. About 5043 PPE and 8719 mask have been given to the health workers. At least 3202 PPE and 1326 mask are reserved for the health workers. Over 4 ambulances are engaged to carry the patients in the regards.
Government has sanctioned 1743 metric tons of rice and cash tk. 3,49,500 to give relief to the jobless people and cash tk.23,00,000 for children food in the period coronavirus spreading in the district. Over 1137.490 metric tons of rice and different goods worth about tk. 54,27,350 were given to poor and jobless people, and child food worth about tk. 13,24,450 was given to children’s parents.
Mobile Courts conducted 1297 cases and fined tk.13,09,100 for violation of health rules in four upazilas of the district from April 1to May 17.
On May 18 a mobile court was conducted by executive magistrates Firoj Hossain, Habibur Rahman and Jannatul Ferdous and they fined tk. 75,900 to 24 shop owners for violation of government order.
