Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) Secretary General Mej Gen AKM Aminul Haque inaugurated the preparations for the 44th National Conference of the force on Sunday at Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy in Safipur of Gazipur.
He was present as the chief guest and inaugurated the event by blowing balloons and cutting the cake, said a press release.
Among others, Ansar and VDP Additional Director General Brigadier General Mohammad Nazim Uddin, Ansar and VDP Academy Commandant Deputy Director Mohammad Nurul Hasan Faridi, Deputy-Directors, Directors, District Commandants, officials, employees, Ansar Battalion and VDP members, were present.
National Assembly of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP is held every year in February. On the occasion of the Assembly, all kinds of preparations are taken from January.
A rally will be carried out under the leadership of the director general on the occasion of the founding anniversary of VDP and the inauguration of the national assembly.
