Premier Cement, a subsidiary of the country's leading industrial group Sikam Group has gifted two high-flow nasal canola to the Chittagong Port Authority.
The canola was handed over to Port Authority Chairman Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad on Monday morning by Premier Cement GM Jobayer Alam.
Amirul Haque, managing director of Sikam Group, said the high-flow nasal canola crisis erupted in the country after the onset of corona virus infection.
I have personally imported this much needed device for Corona patients and arranged for it to be delivered to the hospital.
"We have engaged ourselves in corona tackling as part of our social responsibility for the welfare of the people of the country," he said. Our organization has given the City Hall Convention Center to be built as an isolation center.
"Apart from government initiatives, we are also assisting the government in various initiatives to combat the corona virus," he said. It is a national disaster. There is no opportunity to sit here. Everyone has to work from everyone’s position. We have to come forward for the country, for the people.'
