Sayed Abul Hashem, FCA, FCMA has recently been appointed as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of The Premier Bank Limited.
Prior to joining in Premier Bank, he was the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) since 2015. He has 20 years of professional experience in both Conventional and Islamic Banking.
Hashem started his banking career with Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) as Principal Officer in the year 2000. In the process of career progression, he also served in Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) around 12 years, out of which 10 years as the CFO.
Hashem is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) as well as a Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA).
