A pre-budget dialogue was held at the conference hall Faridpur Municipality on Monday. The authorities of the municipality arrange the event with the support of BRAC UDP.
The meeting discussed the existing problem of the community and possible area to be included in the next budget. Participants of the dialogue urged for arsenic free tube-well, drain, community road, sanitary toilet, employment opportunity and drag free society.
The participants requested the BRAC and Faridpur municipality’s authorities to work jointly for the development of the poor community as well as physical development in the municipal area.
Panel mayor of Faridpur municipality Md. Anisur Rahman Chowdhuri Sabul presided over the event. In his presidential speech, he thanked all the participants of the pre-budget meeting forsharing their problems and promised to specify the recommendation in the next budget.
