PRAN Dairy Limited, a sister concern of PRAN Group, received the top taxpayer award for FY 2021-21. National Board of Revenue (NBR) honored the PRAN Dairy in the food and allied category.
Uzma Chowdhury, Director (Finance) at PRAN-RFLGroup received the award on behalf of PRAN DairyfromAbu Hena Md RahmatulMuneem, Chairman at the National Board of Revenue through a program held at Officers’ Club at the capital on Wednesday. The Finance MinisterAHM Mustafa Kamal was present at the program as a chief guest while Md Jashim Uddin, President at the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) was also present as a special guest.
Uzma Chowdhurysaid, “PRAN-RFL group’s every entities are playing important role in the development of the country through paying vat and tax regularly. We are getting recognition from the government every year for paying vat and tax that give us inspiration.”
The National Board of Revenue honored 141 top taxpayers, including 75 individuals, 50 companies, for the payment of the highest amount of taxes to the state coffer for the year of 2021-21.
