Kausharul Islam, senior vice president of Muktijoddha Youth Command Central Committee, donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), surgical masks and hand gloves to doctors, nurses, police and volunteers of Sarishabari Upazila Health Complex to protect them from the deadly Corona virus in the upazila of Jamalpur on Saturday morning.
The security equipment was distributed among the doctors, nurses, Sarishabari police and volunteers (who will perform Jajajah and burial of the dead body of the deceased) in the hall room of the Upazila Health Complex.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Freedom Fighter Gias Uddin Pathan, Awami League unit President Alhaj Sanowar Hossain Badsha, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shihab Uddin Ahmed and others were present.
Kausarul Islam, senior vice-president of the committee, said, “Many more, including doctors, nurses and members of the police force were providing services at the frontline amid Corona war. Their personal protection is very important. Everyone has to come forward and stand by the government as well as individual initiative. Only then can we win this war”.
