In the wake of the Corona virus epidemic Thakurgaon's development agency Eco-Social Development Organisation (ESDO) has distributed a number of personal protection materials among 2,500 poor elderly people.
ESDO Thakurgaon Sadar upazila in collaboration with State Fund Bangladesh and UKAD on Monday distributed 10 soaps, 5 packets of detergent powder, 5 filter mask, 2 hand sanitizer, one big bucket, one bowl, one soap case and one information leaflet with basic information on novel coronavirus disease among the aged people of Akcha and Auliapur Union. In addition to Thakurgaon, these protection materials were distributed in Panchagarh, Nilphamari and Naogaon districts.
