The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams scheduled for July 21, 23, and 25 had been postponed. These exams will now be held after August 11. The decision was made by the government to ensure the safety of students amid the ongoing nationwide violence related to the quota reform movement.

On Thursday, Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, shared this information with the media. He said, "All the postponed exams will be held after August 11."

However, the exam scheduled for July 28 will take place as planned. When asked if more exams might be postponed, Professor Sarkar replied, "It is not yet decided if any more exams can be postponed as the existing situation is not normal. We will inform everyone if any decision is taken."

The violence and unrest have made it difficult for students to travel safely to their exam centers. The government wants to make sure that all students can take their exams without any risk to their safety. The new dates for the postponed exams will be announced later, giving students time to prepare.

Students and their families are advised to stay updated with the latest announcements from the education board. It is important to keep checking official sources for any changes to the exam schedule. The authorities are working hard to ensure that the exams can be held smoothly and safely.
