Today is the Martyred Intellectuals Day. On this day in 1971, the Pakistani armed forces killed many intellectuals indiscriminately in this country just two days prior to the glorious Victory Day. Since then, Martyred Intellectuals Day has been celebrated on this day to pay homage to all the martyrs in this country. Farid Uddin Mohammed has written and produced the drama themed on this day. Nabila Binte Islam and Farhan acted in it. The drama will be aired on Bangla Vision tonight at 11:15pm.
Regarding acting in such a drama, Nabila Binte Islam said, “At the beginning I thank the director for choosing me to work on such a story. The director chose me to play this character knowing about me and trusting me for the role. I prepared myself for the character that I was going to play and acted accordingly to what the director instructed. The responsibility of working in something which is based on the Martyred Intellectuals Day is very heavy. I believe everyone will love the drama.”
About this, the director Fariduddin Mohammad said, “I am delighted to honor all the martyred intellectuals through this work. I tried my best to do the job well. I hope the audience will understand and like the drama accordingly.”
