Dhallywood popular actress Mahiya Mahi and actor Emon were supposed to act together in Chayanika Chowdhury's debut web film titled ‘Kagojer Bou’. The shooting of the web film was supposed to begin from Friday. However due to physical illness Mahi got replaced by Pori Moni.
Mahi posted her condition on her social media that she will not be able to complete the web film. The actress went to Umrah after her marriage and had signed the film before she left for Saudi Arabia.
Both Chayanika and Pori Moni were at the hospital; from there they went straight to the shooting spot. The web film ‘Kagojer Bou’ also stars D A Tayeb and Mamnun Hasan Emon.
Regarding the context director expressed her gratitude to the actress, ‘Pori Moni has saved me. She came to the shoot after returning from the hospital, and I will always be grateful to her.’
Earlier, Pori Moni was seen in the first film of Chayanika Chowdhury's 'Biswashundari opposite popular actor Siam Ahmed. The movie was released in December last year.
Mahiya Mahi and Emon have teamed up and worked on a web series titled 'Mafia'. They also had a good friendship. However, in a recent incident, it is heard that the relationship has deteriorated.
Actors Emon and Mahiya Mahi were subject to controversy on social media, when an old phone conversation between both the actors and former State Minister for Information, Murad Hasan was leaked online. However, both the actors have overcome that trauma, and have started shooting.
