The 3-day long 7th Popular Life Insurance Cup Golf Tournament was held at Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment at Ghatail in Tangail. Major General Mizanur Rahman Shamim, GOC of the Infantry Division and Ghatail Area Commander, was present as the chief guest at the closing day of the game on Saturday morning.
Yusuf Ali, Managing Director of Popular Life Insurance, along with other army officers were also present on this occasion. The tournament was jointly organized by Ghatail Golf Club and Popular Life Insurance Company in which 120 golfers including 17 women and 12 children from different golf clubs of the country participated.
