Recently, a truck driver, Md Alam of Uttara Bazar area under Thakurgaon district has distributed Eid food items among the unemployed and helpless people on the occasion of upcoming Eid without even noticing that there is no food in his own house.
He distributed the goods at Muzamandal Hat Government Primary School ground in Ruhia Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila on Thursday morning.
Organising Secretary of Ruhia Thana Awami League Badrul Islam Biplob, local Awami League leader Niren Das, Truck and Tanker workers leader Ravi Kapali, Haider Ali and other local dignitaries were present at that time.
Earlier on April 25, he mortgaged his land for Tk 12,000 and distributed rice, potatoes, vegetables, soap, etc among 200 distressed people.
